Not been posting but things have been going well.
All the readings from the tank are stable and all are showing minimum (i.e. ready for additions) and have been for weeks.
I decided a couple of hermit crabs would be the first life I added to the nano-reef. I already had hitch-hikers a-plenty though. Bristleworms and snails and miniscule shrimp all over the place.
Two red legged hermit crabs were purchsed from a good LFS I have used many times for tropical. Much care was taken getting them home and after about half an hour suspended in the tank (to level the temperature of the water, they were added. They settled right in, scuttling to the nearest rock and climbing it.
